Supervision is available to clinicians on a one-off or regular basis. Dr Daff is a Psychology board approved supervisor endorsed in both Clinical and Forensic psychology. Supervision can incorporate clinically specific concerns, general professional development and interpersonal factors, and employs a balance of active and reflective approaches.
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration with frequency tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
Initially, sessions will seek to better understand the individual, explore presenting concern(s), discuss existing strategies which have or have not been helpful, and consider shared goals of treatment. Sessions will then explore, implement, and review psychological strategies to reach the shared goals.
With client consent, Dr Daff will provide updates to referrers and communicate as required to maximise treatment effectiveness and meet referral obligations (for example, with the GP who completed your Mental Health Care Plan). Additional reporting regarding the treatment completed will attract a separate fee, depending on the nature of the report. Dr Daff does not complete assessments and reports relating to parenting.
Dr Daff is currently consulting online only. Availability and suitability for treatment or supervision can be discussed through the 'Contact' page, by email, or phone.
